Federal Pacific Equipment Inc.
In July 1986, Challenger Electric Equipment Corp. purchased some of the assets
of Federal Pacific Electric Co. The Switchgear Plant, which was located in Newark,
NJ, was made an after-market-products plant and relocated to Linden, NJ. This
facility was then sold to Westinghouse Electric Corporation and then to
Cutler-Hammer Inc. Throughout all of these changes, I continued in the position as
Plant Manager, having over 20 years of experience in the switchgear division.
In February 1995, Cutler-Hammer Inc. decided to close this facility at which time I
purchased all of the inventory and started my own company— Federal Pacific
Equipment, Inc. and I hired the experienced Federal Pacific Electric Co. employees.
As you can see, we have the experience, the expertise and original manufactured
parts to help you with most of your Federal Pacific Electric Co. needs.
